Day 1: Kuala Lumpur – Cameron Highlands (B)
Please note: pre and post accommodation in Kuala Lumpur is not included.
Overland journey (private vehicle with driver) to the enchanting Cameron Highlands. The scenic drive passes through rolling hills and lush greenery.
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour covering the highlights of the highlands. Begin with the BOH Tea Plantation, the pioneer of tea growing in Malaysia, founded in 1929 by Scottish planter John Archibald Russell and still owned by the family today. After touring the tea factory, visit the region’s key revenue source—flower and vegetable farming—where you can see a variety of produce and learn traditional cultivation methods. Continue to the local market where the freshest highland goods are sold.
Note: Tea Centre and tea house are closed every Monday and some Public Holidays.
A mandatory Tourism Tax (MYR 10 per room per night) and local Pahang Lestari Tax (MYR 3 per room per night) are payable directly to the hotel upon check-in.
Stay two nights in Cameron Highlands.
Day 2: Cameron Highlands (B)
Travel by Land Rover through the picturesque tea gardens to Gunung Brinchang, 6,666 feet above sea level. On clear days, enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding highlands. Take a guided walk along an elevated platform in the Mossy Forest to see rare plants such as pitcher plants, orchids, primitive ferns, spices, and medicinal herbs.
After a short drive down, visit the Sungai Palas BOH Tea Centre for a variety of teas. After lunch (own expenses), explore the Butterfly and Insect Farm, local vegetable, fruit, and flower markets, the Sam Poh Buddhist Temple, and a strawberry farm.
Day 3: Cameron Highlands – Kuala Lumpur (B)
Enjoy leisure time in the morning before the overland journey (private vehicle with driver) back to downtown Kuala Lumpur. End of tour.
