Day 1 – Sandakan to Selingan Island (L, D)
Accommodation in Sandakan before departure is not included. Guests must stay in a downtown Sandakan hotel to join the tour. Overnight bags only; luggage can be stored at the hotel or Sandakan jetty.
(07:30 am) Group transfer to the jetty, followed by a speedboat ride past fishing villages to Turtle Island Marine Park (approx. 1 hour). Spend the day enjoying the beach, swimming, or snorkeling. After dark, witness green turtles nesting and the release of baby turtles into the ocean under the guidance of park rangers. Overnight at Selingan Island Chalet(basic tourist class, twin-bedded rooms with air-conditioning and attached bathrooms).
Day 2 – Selingan Island to Sandakan (B)
Return by speedboat to Sandakan in the morning. Tour ends.
- No porter service—overnight bags only.
- Bring walking shoes/sandals, insect repellent, torchlight, binoculars, sunblock, hat, rain jacket, and personal toiletries.
- Luggage storage available at Sandakan jetty.
- Turtle sightings are highly probable but not guaranteed.
- Photography of turtles is only allowed with unaided flash cameras.
- Strict park rules apply: no bright torches, music, or beach wandering after dark; follow rangers’ instructions at all times.
- Max overnight visitors: 41 persons per night.

Selingan Turtle Island 2025–2026
