Day 1 – Ulaanbaatar – Murun – Lake Khuvsgul (L,D)
Fly to Murun and transfer to Lake Khuvsgul. Lunch en route. Discover why this 2-million-year-old alpine lake is called Mongolia’s Blue Pearl. Overnight in a ger camp.
Day 2 – Lake Khuvsgul (B,L,D)
Excursion to meet the Tsaatan (Reindeer people), one of the last communities of reindeer herders in the world. Learn about their culture, traditions, and way of life. Enjoy lunch by the lake before returning to the ger camp.
Day 3 – Lake Khuvsgul – Murun – Ulaanbaatar (B,L)
Morning drive back to Murun for your return flight to Ulaanbaatar. Private transfer on arrival. (Accommodation in Ulaanbaatar before and after the tour is not included.)

Lake Khuvsgul Adventure 2025–2026
Known as the Blue Pearl of Mongolia, Lake Khuvsgul is one of the oldest and most pristine lakes on Earth. Stretching 136 km into the Siberian taiga, it is surrounded by dramatic mountains, deep forests, and alpine meadows. As part of the Khuvsgul National Park, this region offers a breathtaking mix of nature, culture, and traditional nomadic lifestyles. The best time to visit is May to September, when the lake is at its most spectacular.
