Kathmandu Short Stop 4 Days

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu (No Meals)
Fly to Kathmandu. (Flight not included.). On arrival take a private transfer (vehicle with driver) to your hotel. Stay three nights in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu (B)
Sightseeing in Kathmandu begins at Kumari Bahal, home to a young living goddess. Visit Swayambhunath, an important two thousand year old hilltop temple. On a clear day there are views to the Himalayas in the east. Travel to Patan on the southern banks of the Bagmati River, the first settlement in the Kathmandu Valley, to see an amazing collection of elaborately carved temples and monuments in wood, stone and metal.

 

Day 3: Kathmandu (B)
Visit two World Heritage listed religious sites this morning, the Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa. See devotees taking ritual dips in the holy Bagmati River then visit the ancient city of Bhaktapur, the third major town in the valley. Enjoy the cobblestone streets free of traffic and visit Lion Gate, the five storied Nyatopolo Temple and the Palace of 55 Windows.

 

Day 4: Depart Kathmandu (B)
Leisure until time for the private transfer ((vehicle with driver) to Kathmandu airport. (Flight not included.)
