Bangkok Short Stop 2025-2026
Day 1 Arrive Bangkok (No Meals)
Fly to Bangkok. (Flight not included.). On arrival private guided transfer to your hotel. Stay four nights in downtown Bangkok.
Day 2 River Kwai Day Excursion (Group Tour) (B,L)
(06:00 am) Early morning depart by bus for Kanchanaburi province, 128 km. to the west of Bangkok. Tour Thailand–Burma Railway Centre an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand– Burma Railway. Pay a visit to the Allied War Cemetery which is memorial to some 6000 allied prisoners of war (POWs) who perished along the death railway line and were moved post-war to this eternal resting place. Explorer the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai, part of the Death Railway constructed by Allied POWs. After lunch at a local restaurant, take a ride on the historic Death Railway Train passing over original wooden viaduct constructed by Allied POWs. Return to Bangkok by bus. Arrive at Bangkok and your hotel early in the evening.
Day 3 Ayutthaya Day Excursion (Group Tour) (B,L)
(Between 07:00 am & 07:30 am) Visit the “Ancient City of Ayutthaya, a World Heritage Site”, with a professional local guide who will take you through the rich history and culture of Thailand. Begin your journey with a bus ride, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. Upon reaching Ayutthaya, you will experience stunning temples and historical sites, such as Wat Mahathat, which features significant Buddha statues; Wat Phra Si Sanphet; Viharn Phra Mongkol Bophit; and Wat Lokayasutharam, known for its beautiful architecture. Afterward, enjoy a scenic return journey by Grand Pearl Cruise along the serene and beautiful Chao Phraya River, with a meticulously prepared lunch served on board. You will arrive in Bangkok around 16:00 pm, followed by a shuttle transfer back to your hotel.
