Vietnam Culinary & Cultural Journey

Day 1 – Arrive Saigon (No Meals)
Arrive at Saigon airport (flight not included) and meet your guide for a private transfer to your hotel.
Stay three nights at the Bay Hotel Ho Chi Minh (Deluxe Room) or Saigon Prince Hotel (Run-Of-House Room) in downtown Saigon.

Day 2 – When in Saigon (B)
Start your morning like a true Saigonese! Visit a historic bread stall for breakfast, wander through lively outdoor markets, enjoy tea or coffee at Saigon’s oldest café, and stroll through the city’s colourful flower alleys while sampling local snacks and sweets.
In the afternoon, join a hands-on cooking class at the Saigon Culinary Arts Centre, where you’ll shop for ingredients with a chef, learn traditional cooking methods, and enjoy the dishes you prepare.

Day 3 – Mekong Delta (B,L)
Take a full-day guided tour to the Mekong Delta. Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, cruise the Tien River, explore canals by sampan, visit a coconut candy workshop, enjoy local fruit with folk songs, and have lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Saigon in the late afternoon.

Day 4 – Saigon to Hue & Food Tasting (B)
Fly from Saigon to Hue (flight included). In the afternoon, enjoy a private culinary tour—taste traditional Hue sweets, learn to make specialties like banh beo and banh bot loc at a local home, and finish with Hue royal tea.
Stay two nights at the Eldora Hotel (Deluxe City View Room) or EMM Hotel Hue (Deluxe Room).

Day 5 – Hue City Tour (B)
Cruise the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, explore the Imperial Citadel (UNESCO World Heritage Site), and visit a conical-hat making village to meet artisans and learn about this cultural craft.

Day 6 – Hue – Ba Na Hill – Hoi An (B)
Travel overland to Ba Na Hill for a cable car ride, panoramic mountain views, and a stroll across the iconic Golden Bridge. Continue to Hoi An and explore its UNESCO-listed Old Town, including merchant houses, the Japanese Covered Bridge, and vibrant local markets.
Stay three nights at the Emm Hotel Hoi An (Superior Room) or Royal Riverside Hoi An Hotel & Spa (Deluxe City View Room).

Day 7 – Hoi An at Leisure (B)
Enjoy a free day to relax or explore Hoi An at your own pace.

Day 8 – Cooking & Fishing Life Tour (B,L)
Take part in a small group tour combining a cooking class with hands-on fishing activities in traditional basket boats. Learn to prepare Vietnamese dishes and enjoy lunch with your group.

Day 9 – Hoi An – Danang – Hanoi (B)
Fly from Danang to Hanoi (flight included). In the evening, enjoy a guided street food walking tour through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, tasting favourites like pho ga, banh mi, and local snacks, before ending with a cold glass of bia hoi.
Stay two nights at the Aurora Central Hotel (Deluxe Room).

Day 10 – Hanoi City Tour (B)
Visit Ba Dinh Square, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum compound (photo stops only). Explore the Museum of Ethnology and finish with a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter.

Day 11 – Hanoi – Halong Bay (B,L,D)
Travel to Halong Bay and embark on your overnight cruise. Sail among towering limestone islands, enjoy freshly prepared meals, and relax on board.
Stay one night on the Verdure Lotus Classic Cruise (Deluxe Balcony Cabin).

Day 12 – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B,L)
Enjoy morning cruising before disembarking around midday. Return to Hanoi for your final night at the Aurora Central Hotel (Deluxe Room).

Day 13 – Depart Hanoi (B)
Leisure time until your private transfer to Hanoi airport (flight not included).
