China Family Holidays

Posted by:

Pandas, kite flying in Beijing, cycling on quiet country roads diverse cultures and magnificent scenery can all be arranged for the discerning family looking for a unique holiday in China.
Whilst family groups are always welcome to join any of InterAsia’s small group journeys, we have found that most families prefer a tailor made itinerary when visiting China.  The flexibility provided by having their own air conditioned vehicles with experienced drivers and English speaking guides just to look after them, and an InterAsia itinerary designed to include just the things they want to enjoy as a family, are features of private family arrangements that have attracted more and more families to explore the many wonders of China with InterAsia.
InterAsia’s consultants will work closely with families and/or their agent to design their own holiday.
Typical family oriented itineraries  may include:
Opportunities to fly kites with the locals in Tiananmen Square, or to take a pedal boat out on the lake at the Summer Palace in Beijing;
Ride a cable car to a high vantage point on the Great Wall near Beijing, then come back down by an exciting toboggan ride;
See the mighty Terracotta Army and ride bicycles around the old city wall in Xian;
Visit Guilin and experience firsthand the skills of the cormorant fishermen followed by a cruise along the amazingly scenic Li River to Yangshou;
While in Yangshou, cycle through beautiful scenery and enjoy lunch with a farmer’s family during the day, then witness an inspiring cultural show with over 600 performers in the evening;
Visit regions of Yunnan Province and interact with some on the many colorful minority groups;
Take in the stunning beauty of the Nine Villages Valley and dine with a Tibetan family in the evening;
And what family can ignore the amazing Pandas – best enjoyed at the Panda Breeding Facility in Chengdu where, by making a donation to the work of preserving these amazing creatures, you can even experience a Panda close up and personal!
These are just a few of the ideas that can be woven into a very personal family exploration of China – InterAsia take great delight in tailoring travel solutions that simply work!  You can choose reliable three star hotels for the more budget conscious or explore China in the lap of luxury with a great selection of five star hotels – the options available are almost endless!  Prices will vary depending on tour arrangements selected.
