Day 1 – (Sunday) Australia to Seoul
Fly with Singapore Airlines to Seoul. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel by minivan. The rest of day is at leisure. Stay one night in Seoul.

Day 2 – Seoul – Jeonju – Gwangju
(Private tour) Your local English speaking driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel for the three hour drive to Jeonju. Tour the city with visits to Jeonju Hanok Village, Jeondong Cathedral and Gyeonggijeon Shrine. Travel on for a further 1.5 hours to Gwangju. Stay two nights in Gwangju. (B)

Day 3 – Damyang excursion
(Private tour) Your driver/guide will collect you for an excursion to nearby Damyang.Visit Soswaewon Garden, Samjinae Slow City, Juknokwon Bamboo Forest and Metasequoia Road. Return to your hotel in Gwangju. (B)

Day 4 – Gwangju – Boseong – Suncheon
(Private tour) Drive on one hour to Boseong to visit a green tea plantation. Drive another one hour to Suncheon and tour the city with a visit to Nakaneupseong Fortress Village and Suncheonman Bay Ecological Park. Stay one night in Suncheon. (B)

Day 5 – Suncheon – Tongyeong – Busan
(Private tour) After a 2.5 hour drive to Tongyeong, enjoy a cable car ride to Mt. Mireuk where you can see beautiful views of Hallyeosudo National Maritime Park. Continue on for a two drive to Busan. Stay one night in Busan. (B)

Day 6 – Busan – Gyeongju
(Private tour) Take a morning tour of Busan. Visit Haeundae Beach, Dongbaek Island, Nurimaru APEC House, Busan Tower, Jagalchi Fish Market, Nampodong Street and Kukje Market. In the afternoon drive 1.5 hours to Gyeongju. Stay one night in Gyeongju. (B)

Day 7 – Gyeongju – Andong
(Private tour) Full day tour of Gyeongju with visits to the Bulguksa Temple, Seokguram Grotto, Gyeongju National Museum, Tumuli Park and Anapji Pond. Transfer to Andong, a 2.5 hour drive, and stay overnight in a traditional guest house. Stay one night in Andong. (B)

Day 8 – Andong – Seoul
Breakfast is at a local restaurant today.
(Private tour) Visit Hahoe Village, a Mask Museum and the Byeongsanseowon Confucian Academy. Return to Seoul, a journey of 3.5 hours. Stay three nights in Seoul. (B)

Day 9 – Seoul
(Seat-in-coach) See the city sights on a full day tour. Drive by the Presidential residence known as the Blue House, see the changing of the guard at the Royal Palace, visit Gyeongbok Palace, the National Folk Museum, Jogyesa Temple, Korean Folk Village and for shopping visit an Amethyst or Ginseng Shop. Pick-up and drop-off at your hotel. (B,L)

Day 10 – DMZ excursion
(Seat-in-coach) Pick-up from your hotel for a morning tour to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Begin with a stop at Imjingak Park for an introduction to the history of the area. Tour the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, which is wide enough to allow a full infantry division to pass through in an hour. Dora Observation Platform is located at a western front line and from here you can view North Korean territory. Visit the DMZ theatre and Exhibition Hall housing old tanks and planes from the Korean War. See Dorasan Station and the Unification Village. The tour concludes back in Seoul at Itaewon. Remainder of day at leisure.(B)

Day 11 – Depart Seoul
A driver will collect you for the transfer to the airport for the flight home. (B)
