    Lhasa Tibet

    Day 1 – Arrive Lhasa
    On arrival at Lhasa airport or rail station you will be met and transferred to your hotel for a four night stay. We recommend you rest for the remainder of the day to acclimatize to the high altitude. (D)
    Day 2 – Lhasa
    Visit the imposing Potala Palace, once the home of the Dalai Lama, and the Jokhang Temple, where pilgrims holding prayer wheels can be seen walking in a clockwise direction around the walls. Browse through the Barchor Bazaar where a wide variety of Tibetan handicrafts are on display. (B,L,D)
    Day 3 – Lhasa
    The Tibet Museum is visited today, along with the Sera Monastery, where the monks can be seen in their distinctive red robes and curved yellow hats. End the day with a visit to a local family home. (B,L,D)
    Day 4 – Lhasa
    Travel outside Lhasa on the road to Gyantse to enjoy some of the mountain scenery. View Yamdrok Lake which, on a clear day, is a sparkling deep turquoise colour. (B,L,D)
    Day 5 – Depart Lhasa
    A transfer is included to the rail station or airport for your departure today. (B)

      Sole Traveller prices apply for one person travelling on their own and staying in a single room. The Single Room price applies when two or more people travel together and a single room is required. Be prepared for extreme cold if travelling to Lhasa in November to March.
