Bengal Ganga River Cruises

CRUISING THE HOLY RIVER – No river in the world plays a more important cultural, economic or social role in the lives of more people than the Ganges. The spiritual heart of Hinduism, the Ganges and its banks are strewn with fascinating cities, pilgrimage sites, villages, mountains and forests.
There is no better way to visit deep inside India than taking a boutique cruise on the Ganges in the comfort of an original steamer-like boat.
Our comprehensive programs include overnight stays before and after the cruise in specially chosen luxury five star hotels, such as the Oberoi Grand in Kolkata and the Taj Gateway in Varanasi, that match the concept of the colonial steamer.

Bengal Ganga river cruises are essentially an outdoor experience. Whilst the staterooms are very comfortable, passengers prefer to spend their time sitting outside, on the promenade decks or on the large observation deck above.  The atmosphere on board is informal and relaxed. The dining room serves Indian and European styled meals, with a sumptuous buffet for breakfast and lunch, and table service for dinner.
Exploratory shore excursions are led by expert local guides.
Staterooms are teak lined with brass marine fittings.  All are air conditioned, with en-suite, safe, writing desk, hair dryer, bathrobe and slippers. Each cabin has deck space with rattan chairs and table outside the cabin.
