  • Itinerary

    Fri – Hanoi – Ha Giang – Ban Me
    Begin early for the guided transfer from Hanoi to Ha Giang Province and its capital, Ha Giang. The journey takes around seven hours and has some of the most breathtaking scenery in Vietnam. Along the way stop in small villages to mingle with the locals, take photos and stretch your legs. On arrival at Ha Giang register at the local immigration office (with passports and before 1600 hrs) to obtain the permits required to visit the region. Continue on to the Ban Me local home in an area rarely visited by tourists.
    Stay overnight at a Local Home (shared dormitory style room). (D)
    Sat – Ha Giang – Meo Vac
    Say goodbye to your local home host this morning as you travel to Sung La village on the road leading to the northern most point at the border of Vietnam and China. Villagers speak Chinese in addition to their native language. Continue to Sa Phin village in Dong Van district to visit the Hmong Palace. Drive onto Meo Vac via Ma Pi Leng Pass and witness more breathtaking scenery.
    Stay overnight at the Hoa Cuong Hotel (standard room) in Meo Vac. (B)
    Sun – Meo Vac – Ha Giang
    Breakfast is at a local restaurant near your hotel. This morning visit the Meo Vac Sunday Market, the largest and most colourful market in northern Vietnam. Return to Ha Giang by road.
    Stay overnight at the Truong Xuan Resort (bungalow). (B)
    Mon – Ha Giang – Hanoi
    Early morning depart for a private guided drive back to Hanoi. The transfer takes approximately seven hours. (Accommodation in Hanoi is not included). (B)
