Day 1 – Arrive Kuala Lumpur
You will be met on arrival at Kuala Lumpur airport and transferred by private vehicle to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Stay three nights in Kuala Lumpur.
Day 2 – Kuala Lumpur
Take a morning tour to orientate yourself in the city. See the National Monument, visit the National Museum and make photo stops at the Petronas Twin Towers, National Mosque and the Kings Palace. Create your own batik artwork, one of the traditional handicrafts of Malaysia, at a batik workshop. The afternoon is at leisure. (B)
Day 3 – Batu Caves excursion
Two highlights of the city’s suburbs are visited on a private half day tour – the Batu Caves and the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre. The Batu Caves, consisting of three large caves and a main temple cave which features ornate Hindu shrines, is reached by climbing 272 steps. At the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre see displays of pewter and witness the manufacturing process. Stop at a local café for a demonstration of making two local favourites – teh tarik and roti canai (pulled tea and pan fried flatbread). (B)
Day 4 – Depart Kuala Lumpur
