    Day 1 – Cochin – Alleppey
On arrival at Cochin airport you will be met by a local representative and transferred, without guide, on the 100 km journey to Alleppey to board your kettuvallam (houseboat) at Pallathuruthy Jetty between 11 am and 1 pm. Spend a relaxing two nights on board, cruising the palm fringed backwaters. All meals are included and expertly prepared by your very own chef. The houseboat sails during daylight and moors at a jetty for overnight. The air-conditioning operates at night only. (L,D)
    Day 2 – Cruising
Winding along the narrow canals amongst the vast expanse of paddy fields and tiny hamlets, one can glimpse fishing nets or flocks of ducks swimming around the banks. Stop occasionally to wander through a village or just sit on deck watching the passing scene. (B,L,D)
    Day 3 – Return – Cochin
Disembark the houseboat by 9 am at Alleppey (or Kumarakom if it fits best with your onward travel plans) and return to Cochin by car, without guide. Meet a guide who will take you on a tour of the city before a transfer to the airport for exit flight. (B)
